Jessica Swanberg, Director, Human Resources Solutions

Jessica Swanberg is a dedicated Human Resources leader who joined The Employers' Association in July 2024, bringing with her nearly two decades of experience as a TEA member. With a deep commitment to HR leadership, Jessica is a familiar face at our Roundtables, a trusted voice on our Helpline, and a dynamic facilitator of our Training programs.

Before joining TEA, Jessica made significant contributions to the Grand Rapids area through progressive HR roles. She expertly managed core HR functions such as talent acquisition and onboarding, benefits and compensation, payroll, compliance, OSHA and safety, and performance management. Her strong emphasis on training and development has been a hallmark of her career.

Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science from Grand Valley State University and a Master of Arts in Human Resources Development from Western Michigan University.

Outside of her professional life, Jessica is committed to her family. She enjoys spending quality time with her two daughters and blending family, participating in Girl Scout activities, hosting bonfires with their dog Bella, and skiing with friends. Jessica and her daughters are active volunteers at their neighborhood memory care facility and Ada Bible Church, demonstrating a strong dedication to their community's well-being and development.
