This series consists of 4 full-day sessions and is geared to those who currently lead others. This series is specifically geared to persons who currently lead others (either directly or indirectly) or persons who are expected to move into a leadership role soon.. Participants will learn leadership skills that can be applied immediately through a combination of hands-on coursework, assessments, case studies, and presentations. Participants will leave the sessions eager to practice new skills and strive for greater success.
Certificate is given, provided all requirements have been met.

To provide participants with essential knowledge and skills in eight key areas needed to more effectively influence and lead others.
Series Objectives
After completing the Core Leadership Skills program, participants will be able to:
- Interpret their own DiSC™ style and its influence on their communication ability
- Describe high-gain, high-impact communication skills for creating more effective relationships
- Engage employees at a higher level by understanding and acknowledging their motivations
- Develop employees to perform at a higher level using engaging and respectful coaching principles
- Identify, define, and communicate clear expectations that enhance delegation effectiveness
- Recognize situations and opportunities for productively managing emotions when leading others
- Explain personal emotional “triggers” and “blind spots” that can derail relationships and positive results
- Plan for conducting more effective and engaging performance reviews
- State best practices for documenting and delivering disciplinary action
