“...in the absence of an infirmary, clinic, or hospital in near proximity to the workplace (emphasis added)...a person or persons shall be adequately trained to render first aid...” (OSHA: General Industry Standards, SubpartK, Section 1910.51). Emergency medical training plays a vital role in every organization’s overall safety program and emergency response plan. Preparing for emergency situations increases safety awareness in the workplace. This class meets the 2020 American Heart Association guidelines for resuscitation and first aid. Certification is good for two years.

In our continuing efforts to expedite the delivery of CPR and Bloodborne Pathogens certification cards to participants successfully completing training at The Employers’ Association, students will be handed their certification cards at the end of their training class.  The instructor will encourage the students to take a picture of their card before leaving the program as a backup measure – please contact the student if a copy of the card is required to be on file.  The $10 card replacement fee (should a card be lost) has not changed
